Paul Fishman: musician, composer & producer. Studied composition at GSM. Aged 19 signed to Warner Records, released the album “In Search of Ancient Gods”. Among the first UK musicians to use electronic music for films, appears on many Roy Budd soundtracks. Worked with legendary record producers Gus Dugeon, John Punter, Alex Sadkin, Nick Launay & Trevor Horn. Recorded with artists PIL, Slade, Osibisa, Gary Moore, Yazz, Elton John etc. Contributed to over 100 film soundtracks, Superman IV, Death Wish, Breakdance etc.
During the 80’s, formed new wave band Re-Flex & achieved international success with the song & album "The Politics of Dancing". They recorded 6 albums, toured worldwide & supported The Police in the USA & among the first UK artists to be featured on MTV.
Production credits include projects for Motown (Marvin Gaye, The Temptations) & Prince’s Paisley Park. Recorded an album with Ped Gill (Frankie Goes to Hollywood) Ltd. Noise, “About 8 Minutes”. 2019 released the electronic music “IT’S ABOUT TIME”. July 2020, with Dave Harris (Fashion), under the name Boom Boom a collection of unreleased funk inspired songs called “2 in2 The Groove”.
2021 released the single “Bad Man” from album “Art Official Intelligence”, followed by “Lockdown”, “Going Down Slow”, “On” & “Who Are You”. In 2022 produced the compilation Re-Flex album “Vibrate Generate”.
